Not only will exercising during your pregnancy benefit you during your pregnancy, but afterwards as well. It will help you to lose your pregnancy weight quicker, lessen the effects of your pregnancy on your body, such as stretch marks, additional loose skin and leave you feeling more energetic.
Exercise And Fitness During Pregnancy
The exercises you can do during pregnancy depend on your health and how active you were before you became pregnant. If you were not active before pregnancy, this is not the time to start any extremely strenuous exercise program.
However, exercises such as swimming, walking, or prenatal exercise classes are great places for you to get started. If you exercised before pregnancy, you should be able to continue with your exercise program but within reason. Check with your doctor first if you have special health circumstances that require further information.
